The Ukrainian village of Opishnya is the most amazing place in the world, a paradise for dachshunds! There is so much interesting stuff! Goats, cows, geese, chickens, pigs, horses! And also all sorts of small creatures: hedgehogs, lizards, dragonflies, snails, butterflies, and beetles! I will tell you about the forest, berries, and mushrooms. About how I freed domestic animals, tamed a chick, caught the Biggest Fish, escaped from kidnappers, practiced yoga, took care of stray dogs, sheltered a little kitten, created a living corner in the garden, investigated the disappearance of dumplings, made friends with a fox from the nearby forest, and how together with my new friends I fought for ecology and celebrated Independence Day.
I have a sharp mind, so I think you will find it amusing to see the world of people through my eyes. And you definitely have to meet the guests and residents of Opishnya, as each of them is interesting in their own way! My hostess Nata is a very creative person; every summer she escapes from the city hustle and bustle to a quiet Ukrainian village with her daughter Oksana. Oksana loves to observe butterflies and is friends with a goat named Raya. Anya creates ceramics and swims in the river every morning. Kolya is an avid fisherman; it was with him that we caught the Biggest Fish. Nadya is the most hospitable among the neighbors, always treating everyone to something delicious. The cat Gray always comes at the smell of fish, the reed cat Baby is huge and kind, Anya's dog Shelly is very noble, and the neighbor's dogs Venus and Chanel are sly and mischievous.
